There's a reason why indigo is one of the oldest dyes used for textile dyeing in the world, it's uniqueness and beauty. We wanted to create a belt that would hopefully exemplify those qualities. When we found this leather, we knew we were headed in that direction. Each belt features a strap made from a full-grain 8-9 oz. buffalo leather side and is paired with a buckle that is as unique as the leather, our handmade, solid copper buckle.
The solid copper buckle and keep are hand-forged in Missoula by metalsmith Nathan Kimpell. Both buckle and keep are secured with hand-set copper rivets and burrs for a lifetime of dependability. The solid copper on this belt will develop a gorgeous patina over time.
Handmade, one at a time, here in our Missoula, Montana.
